Nanophage’s Cathy Davenport presents at SynBioNZ

Cathy Davenport presented at the New Zealand Synthetic Biology Symposium in Wellington on behalf of Nanophage Technologies

Last month the inaugural New Zealand Synthetic Biology (SynBioNZ) symposium was held at Victoria University of Wellington. Our fantastic PhD Student and founder, Cathy Davenport, gave a talk explaining the background of our technology and some of our recent results.

This symposium was focused on Synthetic Biology Tools, where various academics and entrepreneurs presented their expertise in synthetic biology and a panel was held on New Zealand’s SynBio Sphere: “Where Academia, Government and Industry Meet”. The organizers did an excellent job of selecting interesting and engaging speakers that kept us interested for the whole day!
